By the 1970s, Sparks had expanded into another promising new market – air conditioning – and once again acquired a name for excellence within a specialist discipline.

During the 1980s, we strengthened our M&E portfolio with the acquisition of a mechanical services company, which added heating, ventilation, electrical and plumbing to the skills pool. By the 1990s, Sparks had become a key player in the M&E services sector, offering a fully-integrated package to major clients within the building industry.

With the addition of our leading-edge Renewables division in 2011, we continue to develop our Sparks service offering, ensuring that it remains flexible, robust and highly relevant to the 21st Century M&E marketplace.
